In this stage of the school, learning within the curriculum continues to extend and challenge all children whilst also ensuring that the highest achievers have opportunities to excel. It is our aim that every child is well prepared for the next stage of their education, irrespective of their destination.

In Year 5, all children attend a residential activity week in the Isle of Wight and also visit a partner school.

In Year 6, children go to France for an extended weekend, visiting markets, museums, historical sites and coastal areas.

 Alongside community and voluntary aided schools, many of our children also move on to selective grammar, independent and international schools.
